I have a solution that might work for some, it helps me not have as much saliva buildup sometimes. Also, if you have spit and mucus/snot in your mouth you might have post-nasal drip. 1) gurgle salt-water 3 times a day, morning, mid-day and dinner. 2) try using a humidifier when sleeping. 3) Use a Saline nasal spray to clear out nose 4) Drink proper tea! 5) Ice helps soothe nerves 6) If none of these then its probably anxiety.
